We have just had our final shutters fitted in our lounge, which now completes our whole house. We first had contact with Tom of American Shutters 14 years ago when we moved in and have gradually had each room fitted with shutters. I think the fact that we have returned to the same company during this time speaks for itself. Tom, himself, is very efficient, reliable, offers excellent advise and really takes an interest in what ideas you have. He is in no way pushy, he offers a very personal service and it has been such a pleasure dealing with him and his staff. We are absolutely delighted with our shutters, they are of excellent quality and beautifully fitted by Roberto, his lovely installer. I could say more but all I can say is if you are looking to have shutters fitted I cannot recommend American Shutters enough. You can be assured that you will be delighted with the result.

What a lovely team! Tom was so helpful and professional when he came to measure up earlier in the year - even being kind enough to give me some paper IKEA blinds whilst I was waiting for my shutters, and put them up for me.When he came to fit the blinds Roberto was equally as professional, friendly, and left the area spotless. Customer service at American Shutters has been flawless. Every communication has been politely dealt with and quickly. I have been kept updated and informed from my initial enquiry through to installation and after care. Tom was patient with us, including several trips to view examples, as we decided on the right style and helped with all my questions. The fitters we had were polite, friendly and tidy. We did have an issue with our shutters after fitting and you can tell the quality of a company by the way they handle this. I was really pleased for the stress free experience as they dealt with the issue, and again, the team kept me up to date. The shutters have added such a massive impact on our room, and we are really pleased with them. Such an easy company to deal with I would highly recommend them. It was a breath of fresh air!

We recently received our bespoke shutters. Which looks amazing and completes our room. Making our family and reception room look cosy.Also, not as expensive as I thought, which is always a bonus!!They adhered to COVID-19 advice, wearing face masks, stating they have had no symptoms recently (alternatively, asking if we are symptom free) - good call.We were kept up-to-date regarding our purchase. Because of COVID-19, our products took a bit longer, about 2 weeks.Once our Shutters had arrived, they contacted us straight away to organise an installation date within days.Our installation guy was professional and very skilled. I didn’t realise it would take a day to install, but being bespoke they needed to match to your windows.After just having our extension done, everywhere had mastic. The installation guy also put mastic around the shutters.Would definitely recommend in price, customer service and installation.

I always liked shutters but was a bit apprehensive about which company to use so after a bit of internet searching came across American Shutters. I’m so glad I did. The first shutters I had installed were cafe type and looked really great and they have now been in place 13 years . The colour has not faded and they are still in perfect condition and look as new. I’ve since had the first floor and second floors fitted with American shutters and am very happy with them and highly recommend this company. Their fitter comes to measure and also installs them and has done a great job. The latest shutters were fitted to replace blinds that had faded. Good news - these shutters don’t fade and are proving more economical in the long run. Plus they suit any decor. They were also fitted during the pandemic and their fitter adheres to COVID safeguards while working.

We have just had American Shutters installed in an office and a bedroom at our home.The installation by Roberto was very professional. Apart from the shutters he left no trace of having been to my home!The shutters have transformed both rooms. They are of excellent quality. We have moved houses on several occasions, once abroad and each time have used American Shutters. The team are fast, friendly, efficient and understand color schemes. Houses have varied from period to contemporary and the shutters have varied from small slats to large to solid. Recently I had a problem with one of my shutters closing and Tom was there same day to correct it and this was 5 years after having them installed. Window shutters.I asked Tom at American Shutters to measure and install a set of shutters in our bedroom at home and due to the very unusual shape of the cathedral style window, it was a difficult and complicated undertaking. Utterly outstanding! We had most of our windows fitted with the window shutters last week. Now we've gone back for the remainder windows to be fitted because they are just so lovely. They have completely changed the feel of the house, beautifully framing the windows and fitted just perfectly. Roberto came to fit them and he was wonderful. Friendly, competent and thorough. We could leave him to get on with things and trust he was treating each window like it was his first. He was so careful! It has honestly been the best investment we could have made. I just wish we had done it sooner to be honest. Absolutely brilliant bespoke service all round!!

Extremely responsive, helpful and pleasant. American Shutters provided pro-active advice, flexibility and were readily available to answer questions. They fitted quickly and were clean.
